Lehigh Valley Housing Affordability Index
Another consumer oriented index produced by the Center is the Housing Affordability Index (HAI). This index is designed to show the local residents' ability to purchase houses in our area. The general concept of the index is straight forward, it calculates the average monthly payment of the residents and compares it with their average income.
